Impact
Alegion employs a global workforce of annotators to scale up enterprise projects that require a high volume of annotations. We are committed to empowering each annotator with dignified working conditions and fair wages. We reject projects that expose our workers to harmful content and work to correct projects that do not meet our ethical standards.
Impact Through Community Training
Alegion employs a portion of annotators through our Impact Centers located in Egypt and Uganda. These are community work and training centers we have established to create opportunities for communities we have identified as especially impoverished. Centers have access to reliable wifi and annotation managers for on-the-ground coaching and annotation guidance.
All of our workforce have access to the Alegion platform to prepare machine learning training data. We steer workers into areas where they have aptitude and provide training and skill improvement paths as each worker’s career advances.
